KWIK Insect Killer Spray

What insect spray do you use?

Insects like mosquitoes, roaches, and flies are really annoying and carry various diseases that’s why multi-insect killer spray was invented. Some of them are not budget-friendly no wonder some people resort to some alternatives like mosquito coils, fly traps, fly swatter , and slippers (Yes ,you heard me right!) to kill those insects.

We seldom buy insect killer spray because of its price but whenever we did, we always choose the smallest. One time we went to the grocery, we noticed a new multi-insect killer spray in a shelf of aerosol sprays. The name of the product is KWIK (I assume that it originated from the word quick). I checked the price of the small bottle and it costed more than 60 pesos. Compared to other sprays, KWIK is really cheaper but I am a meticulous buyer especially to a new product that’s why I always think twice before purchasing.

Despite the cheaper price, KWIK multi-insect killer spray never made me disappointed. It is really effective. I don’t like cockroaches especially when they are flying. When we sprayed Kwik to a crawling cockroach on the floor, it slowed down and then it suddenly stopped from moving. I was not sure if it was just knocked out or already dead because we flushed it in the toilet after.

Kwik Insect Spray has a BFAD Registration number; meaning, the product is approved by BFAD or Bureau of Food and Drugs. However, it should always be kept in a safe place and away from kids like any other insecticides.

When I was in High School, our Science teacher told us that using aerosol spray containing chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) is bad for our environment because it destroys the ozone layer. Due to this, U.S. banned the aerosols containing CFC. I am not sure if aerosols containing CFC are still in the market but Kwik Multi-insect killer spray is one of the CFC free aerosol sprays. Meaning, it is safe for our environment but not for the insects.

KWIK has four variants - KWIK multi-insect killer, KWIK water-based multi-insect killer, KWIK mosquito killer and KWIK cockroach killer. The product KWIK is manufactured by Consumer Care Products, Incorporated.

This article was made to share my experience on using the product. I would like to emphasize that I am not affiliated to the company nor getting any payment from them by doing this.
